"These chairs were made to give my students an example of how new shapes can be created following the possibilities suggested by new materials. A plastic chair does not necessarily have to be like a wooden chair, since these two materials have completely different technical characteristics. For a wooden chair (which can be solid) it is normal to have four legs. Resin, which can be laminated and reinforced to be resistant even to very thin thicknesses, is more suitable for covering the shapes. A resin chair with four legs is a false chair and usually It's not very stable." - Augusto Betti
