Antique English Oak Bookshelf BARLEY TWIST Open Display Shelf SMALL Bookcase.
Direct from England, a charming little antique bookshelf or display, with three levels of shelves and classic British BARLEY TWIST legs. The upper shelf/top has a raised gallery on all sides, beveled edges and beautiful tiger oak grain, with a wide, shaped apron below. The other two shelves also feature beveled edge fronts and large block joints, with English ball feet for stability and support. Sturdy and strong, well built by craftsmen of the period, circa 1920.
Measurements: 36.5” ht. x 23” x 17”. Inside the top galleries, 21.25” x 15.25”.
