This edition was published to mark the 1937 Coronation of the current King Charles’s grandfather, and Elizabeth I’s father, King George VI.

Beautiful gold and purple embossed outer binding. Black and White photographic plates, on a rich velvety paper. In depth history of the making of King George VI, the short reign of King Edward, followed by his abdication for the “woman he loved” Wallis Simpson, along with charts outlining the Royal Family Tree.
