This impressive Shiraz Qashghai rug is a true work of art of nomadic culture - powerful, colorful and full of symbolism. Hand-knotted from pure natural wool, this rug combines traditional craftsmanship with a complex, almost narrative design.
The rug field is dominated by a central medallion surrounded by countless small motifs - including animals, plants, tents and tribal symbols. Each knot tells a piece of the history of the Qashghai nomads. The deep red tones combined with black, gold, blue and natural colors create a warm, lively appearance.
The strong border with stylized leaves harmoniously frames the central pattern and underlines the ethnic character of this unique piece. A rug that not only serves as floor covering, but also as a cultural statement.
