Good example of the Swedish Biedermeier style and has a very satisfying curve to the legs and lots of carved detailing It is a real impact piece with the swooping arms and a very comfortable seat for added comfort. It is also very rare as we believe that there may also be some sort of bed storage underneath the seat with what looks like a mattress in it but we cannot confirm what it is without removing the upholstery. We have added a photo for you to see. Your upholsterer can remove whatever is present underneath when reupholstering if you don't want it in place. The sofa back is webbed we think and very comfortable. The sofa will be re-polished. See less
