A set of three vintage Mid-Century Danish Decanters designed by Michael Bang for Holmegaard, all in pristine condition with original royal crown stopper. Circa the 1960s, these decanters are in excellent vintage condition.
The smoke grey decanters are made of high quality glass have a gorgeous and useful pinched design, ground stopper and mouth, and ground pontil mark on the bottom. This full-sized decanters were blown and tooled by hand.
Original crown stoppers are ground to fit the bottle neck. The form makes it easy to hold, easy to pour, and the liquid gurgles out slowly because of the compartments.
Jacob E. Bang worked with Holmegaard from 1928 to 1941. His fabulous design was made for many years.
