This is a set of a split reed rattan lounge chair with a matching ottoman from 1930s.
Features:
-Art design and craftmanship of the natural material
-Cobra shaped arms that lead into the back of with arched sides made from steam-bent reed rattan
-Cup holder section and magazine section in arms.
-Both chair and ottoman have comfortable cushion padding
-Upholstery of black fabric with tropical palm tree print
This style of rattan became famous when Franklin D. Roosevelt was featured in several photos with a reed rattan set in his home.
