Early 18th Century Dutch “Arched “ and Glazed Wall Cabinet. Made of oak with canted glazed sides and the original shaped shelves with a small interior drawer.Very nice Proportions used to display china and glassware. Made in Holland circa 1720.
This beautifully aged Dutch wall cabinet was crafted in Holland around 1720 and features an elegant arched cornice above double-glazed doors. Made of solid oak, the piece showcases a warm, natural patina and retains its original interior with shaped display shelves and red-stained backboards.
Side panels are also glazed, allowing for full visibility of the cabinet's interior from three angles- perfect for displaying curios, glassware, or decorative objects. The black-painted top shows signs of wear and aging consistent with its 18th-century origins, and the cabinet includes a forged iron loop for wall mounting.
The handcrafted joinery and pegged construction speak to its early Dutch craftsmanship, while the compact form and glazed design offer versatility for both traditional and eclectic interiors.
