let alone in this condition and with such harmonious and matching cognac patina on the leather of all 4 chairs.

despite silvio coppolas sculptural design of the chairs, they are surprisingly sturdy and comfortable to sit in.

the ash wood of the frame has a beautiful destinct woodgrain and a glowing golden color that matches well with the cognac patina of the leather and the visible stitching around the edges of the backrest.
a fine example of refined 1970s italian design and craftsmanship.

these chairs were used in the living room-style lobby kelly wearstler designed for the iconic proper hotel santa monica.
