The upholstery on this set is in like new condition. The fabric is textured and has shades of off-white, khaki and gray with a tiny bit of metallic sparkle.

The combo of the fabric's light and dark colors and the textured weave contribute to a dimensional quality that looks sophisticated yet understated. It is truly a chameleon. The chairs have a tight back and seat and a curve that makes sitting in them dreamy.

The chairs were purchased by an Interior Designer at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. The homeowners seemed to remember shopping at Karl Springer's showroom but the chairs are without labels and can not be authenticated.

Despite that, they are expertly constructed and sure to last another 60 years. We have the table that was purchased with the chairs in a separate listing. Its the perfect match to these chairs and even more gorgeous. See less
