A large, lovely original abstract painting by Alice Wright Uhlmann (1911-2002) titled "Mesa Blanco".
Her paintings often incorporated textured surfaces and a more muted color pallette. The canvas is mostly done in pastel hues. It is very calming.
Wright Uhlmann studied art at the University of Michigan and also The Academy of Fine Arts in Phildelphia. She lived and worked for a time in Evanston IL.
