There are brass inlays to the top of the buffet and a solid brass Ming style base and brass hardware.

This piece has a chinoiserie feel (mostly due to the shape of the base). Made by Mastercraft in Grand Rapids for Richard Honquest Furniture (a high end showroom that had locations in Barrington, IL and Whitefish Bay, WI).

This piece features a Honquest label to the back). There are a few light scratches to the faux leather on the top (see close up images).
