(image) On Arches vellum This etching is characteristic of the Ukrainian-born artist's Orphic aesthetic. Through the interplay of geometric shapes and the complex assembly of colors, conceived as an architecture of rectangles and circles, Delaunay gives rhythm to the composition, whose subtle movement extends from the two juxtaposed circles.
