(image) Arches Paper An attractive still life with bouquet from Bernard Buffet's late period. The bright, complementary flat tones of red and blue stand out against the mimosa-yellow background. The simplified, elongated form of the irises highlights the graphic black striations, omnipresent in this composition and in the artist's work.
