The Catalan artist wrote and illustrated each page, or rather illuminated, as he put it. He produced fifteen lithographs to accompany his poetic text. The refined figures and dynamic colors reflect his knowledge of prehistoric, ancient and medieval motifs. The light-brown background, organic shapes and vibrant colors create a composition where the dialogue between past and present reveals a universe both archaic and dreamlike.
