A pair of wrought iron cellar candlesticks. These antique candle holders have a corkscrew spiral design and arched feet. ‘rat de cave’ candlesticks were used to light french wine cellars - the rat tail shape handles were designed to be hung on the rim of a wine barrel. These decorative, atmospheric pieces have a wonderful rusty patina and a brutalist look.
