The bottoms are weighted. The pen candlesticks are in used condition. 1 of the candlesticks has been repaired to the stem of the candlestick and collar. The Dutch East India Company or in modern spelling United East India Company, abbreviated to VOC (1602–1800), was a private Dutch trading company. Maritime trade with many products, such as spices, tea, sugar, silver, copper, porcelain and more with the area east of the Cape of Good Hope and west of the Strait of Magellan.
