Roger Collet (1933-2008) born in Switzerland, graduated from the Chavannes Rennens ceramics school in 1952, he moved to Paris and worked with the Cloutier brothers. Then he left for Vallauris in 1956 and collaborated with many ceramists. He opened his own workshop in 1966, produced utility pieces, pitchers, vases, then from 1983, influenced by Chinese cecidons, he produced monochrome pieces of great purity.
