This rare, substantial table lamp was designed by Bruno Karlsson and produced by Ego Stengods Ateljé in Sweden during the 1960s. The lamp is signed with the manufacturer's name and the designer's initials on the underside of the base.
The striking egg shaped ceramic base is finished with a beautiful speckled glaze, showcasing a harmonious blend of hues in yellow, brown, and beige. This creates an intriguing texture and depth, adding to the lamp's visual appeal. The coolie shaped shade is newly covered in a smooth, ivory-colored fabric, complementing the base.
The lamp is in very good condition, rewired and with a completely new shade. Currently with a 220V European plug and a standard E26/E27 light fitting.
