The green pitcher and vintage bottle were on loan from a local antique shop in town. The shop owner kindly let me borrow them, and I loved incorporating their shapes and character into this piece.

I arranged them alongside a mix of everyday objects—canning jars, a terracotta pot, lemons, and a berry basket—set atop layered patterns and textiles from my studio. I let the colors lead the way: lavender, chartreuse, and soft orange work in harmony with subtle shadows and crisp whites to create a composition that feels both lively and grounded.

My paintings often explore the beauty of the ordinary, and this one is no exception. I enjoy bending perspective and outlining shapes to create a graphic, almost playful rhythm across the canvas. It’s part vintage still life, part modern-day color story—and I hope it brings a bit of brightness and inspiration wherever it lands.
