Bright and detailed coastal landscape by Chilean artist Jorge Chaves (Chilean, 20th Century). The viewer stands at the top of a hill, looking down the road at the town of Valparaiso, Chile. There are houses packed in tightly on both sides of the street, as well as in the distance to the left. There are several boats in the harbor. Light pink and yellow clouds sit at the horizon.
