This is a lead crystal FB Rogers ice bucket with a pair of plastic tongs and two stickers-one on the … Read more This is a lead crystal FB Rogers ice bucket with a pair of plastic tongs and two stickers-one on the front that reads Lead Crystal Made in West Germany and one inside that reads Made in Germany for F.B. Rogers, Taunton Mass, 02780. It has a silver rim and silver handle.

The ice bucket measures 4.75 inches across the top rim and it is 6.00 inches tall. It is 10.00 inches to the top when the handle is up. Weight is two pounds, twelve ounces.

There is something stuck to the metal rim in the back-or the silver has silver substance has started to peel a bit at the bottom. I’m not sure which yet. The silver rim has spotting and darkening in spots, but nothing that is too bad except for this one spot in the back. The silver has no markings at all.

The crystal is cut into diamond shapes with larger diamonds at the top, medium diamonds at the bottom and tiny diamonds around most of it. I have not been able to find a pattern name or age, but the company moved to Taunton Mass in 1886. The company sold out and changed names in 1904, so I’d age this between 1886 and 1904.
