Description : Odiot, Paris Wonderful Sterling Silver 5-pc Place-Setting, 27- Laetitia.
This is one of the purest Empire style flatware pattern, was ordered by Laetitia Bonaparte, The Emperor's Napoleon mother. Specially designed for her with her preferential motives : the peacock, the horn of plenty and the swan, symbols of wealth and seduction.
Supplier : Odiot - Maître Orfèvre since 1690. -
Made in : France Circa 1890’s .
Marked : Hall Mark Odiot with Paris Paris Assay office Hall Mark Title 1 (which is 950/1000)

Odiot was founded in 1690 during the reign of Louis XIV. Odiot Maître Orfèvre with a historical background , most of their patterns were specially designed for the rulers and the elite in Europe, under Louis XV, Louis XVI and the Empire. They are still carrying the tradition of master craftsman-Maître Orfèvre for (3) three centuries.
Please Note : The Spoon & Fork have a Monogram on the back in the Cartouche.
