Federico melis (1891 - 1969) is a leading figure in sardinian artistic ceramics. This sculpture is representative of the artist's last period when he worked in marche. He then creates very lively sculptures with angular lines and uses the expressive potential of the abstract treatment of material. Pablo picasso, met in cannes during the international ceramic exhibition in 1955, is a strong source of inspiration.
