Item Description : Hand-Forged Sterling Silver 5-pc Place-Setting, Fiddle Thread & Shell.
Pattern : Fiddle Thread & Shell.
This very pleasing pattern in Hand-Forged heavy gauge sterling silver, is dating from the 1825 period, it is based on the Fiddle shape with the more elaborate “husk” shell and acanthus design at the end of the handle, both features being repeated on the reverse.
