The field is in pink or rust red color with a central medallion in navy blue. The overall floral design of the rug is beautifully demonstrated in the corner spandrels which are in an abrash French blue color. The border is in navy blue with geometric florets in pale green, pale yellow, blue, and cream throughout. The design accent colors throughout the rug include, yellow, French blue, navy blue, pink, red. Truly an artistic creation and a fine example of Farhan Sarouk rugs from the late 1800s.
