3’ 5” x 5’ Vintage Turkmen Tekke rug in an allover pattern from the early 1900s. The rug has a beautiful and graceful brick-red background color. The medallions are in brick-red, navy and pink colors. Rug has a very fine weave with high knot density and has a wool pile on a wool foundation with organic vegetable dyes. A wonderful example of the central Asia tribal people.
