7’ 10” x 10’ 5" Chinese Peking with Lion and Symbols for Fortune, Prosperity, and Long Life. A beautiful "distressed" Chinese Peking room size rug from the 4th quarter of the 1800s. The rug has a very unique and beautiful gray field color with an open design. The design in the field consists of a large medallion with lion dogs surrounded by various Chinese symbols for fortune, prosperity, and long life.
