7’ x 14’ 8” Vintage Turkmen Tekke gallery or corridor rug in a geometric medallion pattern (Turkmen Gul) in brick red with accent colors in green, brown, and gray. The Turkmen Tekke hand knotted rug is woven using handspun wool and all vegetable dyes in the first half of the 20th century and is in good condition.
Dimensions: 7’ x 14’ 8”
Date of Manufacture: 1st Quarter of the 1900s
Place of Origin: Afghanistan, Central Asia
Material: Wool pile on a wool foundation with organic vegetable dyes
