2’ 4” x 2’ 11” A "near square" size hand-knotted vintage Persian Qum area rug in an all-over Herati pattern circa the mid 1900s. The beautiful small Qum rug has a cream color field with a dark blue border. The geometric Herati designs are in pale brown and dark red colors. The city of Qum located around 90 miles south of the capital city of Tehran is known for very finely woven rugs and extremely well made.
