4’ x 5’ 8” One of the rarest Caucasian Shirvan Kuba rugs from the early 1900s in truly “near mint” condition as it had never been on the floor or hardly used! The rug has a beautiful rich tomato red background with an all over geometric pattern with forms in green, blue, ivory, pink, and yellow. The beautiful border is in navy color with a Kufic pattern in ivory color that adds to the beauty of the rug. A true masterpiece of village weaving from the Caucasus mountains.

Date of Manufacture: 1st Quarter of the 1900s
Place of Origin: Caucasus
Material: Wool pile on a wool foundation with natural dyes
