The hand-knotted Persian Kashan has a floral design set in a rust red color field with corner spandrels in ivory in the traditional Shah Abbas design of Sickle and leaves. The range of colors is wonderful and includes many shades of navy, baby blue, green, pink, yellow, and brown. The gorgeous central medallion in shades of blue and cream make a beautiful focal point for the rug. The border is navy blue with a floral design. The guard blue is a pale blue color. It is a well-aged fine Persian rug that is a beautiful piece of art for the floor to be cherished and enjoyed for many more years.
