5’ 5” x 12’ 5” Vintage Turkish kilim is considered a gallery/corridor rug or a wide runner. The Turkish kilim is a flat woven rug from the early 1900s. It has beautiful colors including pale brick, tan, navy and yellow. The design contains three connected medallions. The kilim is wonderfully framed by an ivory color border. The use of the natural dyes and the gradual tone changes (abrash) adds to the beauty of this Turkish Kilim village woven art.
