"Crustations de la Mer" is an original watercolor painting by Scottish born artist, Valerie Wall. Painted in 2003. The painting beautifully captures the intricate beauty of oyster shells and barnacles. The artwork is encased in a light gold tone frame with a beaded texture along the inside edge, giving it a classic and sophisticated appearance without being overly bright. The warm frame tone enhances the muted tan tones in the painting.
Valerie's long career began when she studied fashion history at the Glasgow Royal Academy and went on to run her own haute couture, and wedding dress business in London for fifteen years. Leaving the fashion world behind, Valerie returned to her passion for art creating modern seascapes, and botanical & marine life drawings and paintings.
