Title: "Fields at Upper Shirley." The subject is a long landscape view from the vineyards looking to the fields and down the road to the James River. Painting is oil on canvas board.

Teresa DiMarco, Richmond Virginia artist and plein air painter, sees and captures planes of light, geometric shapes of color in the landscape, and dramatic perspective in interiors and still life. She works in oils and oil paintsticks onsite, "en plein air" creating spontaneous and expressive works. Graduated from University of Virginia. Studied art for 25 years at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Studio School, Nimrod Hall Art Workshops, and under the instruction of artist Curney Nuffer. She has exhibited at Artspace Gallery, the Studio School at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, CrossRoads Gallery, Zeus Gallery, and numerous other shows in Richmond, and has won numerous awards.
