There are four shaped rungs to hang your newspapers or magazines, as well as a carrying handle and two sections for book storage. There is a beautiful carved rope trim surrounding the bottom edge and there are elegant carved feet. There is no maker's mark. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom at highest=17 inches, Width side to side=17 inches, Length end to end=22-1/2 inches. This marvelous English style canterbury has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent vintage condition, free from chips, cracks or other imperfections and is structurally sound and sturdy. There are some slight scratches, commensurate with age and use, but they do not diminish the beauty of this lovely piece. Side drawer is available with pulls intact and easy sliding. It is the perfect addition to your decor, particularly if you admire the Chippendale style! See less
