After further investigation, we discovered that this type of animal was manufactured by the Deru company in Germany. They are very rare and highly appreciated by collectors. This piece is notable for not bearing the Deru seal, which is unusual, as all pieces used to be sealed. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
