Ebonised & Giltwood Mirror Napoleon III Second Empire
Sourced from the Basque region of South West France, this handsome mirror features a raised crest with elegant acanthus leaf and floral decoration.
It has profuse decoration with three bands of repeated patterns.
The mirror plate is original with very minor marks and light foxing. While there are minor age-related losses to the decorative gesso, these subtle imperfections contribute to the mirror's character and they do not detract from the overall beauty of the piece.
Height: 92 cm
