A yellow neon light has been added in a way that blends seamlessly with the scene depicted in the painting; when the light is on, it is difficult to distinguish between the real light cast by the neon, and the light painted onto the street in front of the diner. The effect is quite engaging and fun to look at, making this a great conversation piece as well as the perfect complement to a rec room, bar, lounge, gallery, etc. The original wiring has been upgraded so that the light now includes a toggle switch- it works perfectly and the light is very bright.
