This unique design bears all the hallmarks of Geddes'' design aesthetic of using minimalistic circles and simple curves/columns as the primary geometric forms that embody most of his designs. The sublime sculptural body is comprised of highly polished sold Brass hardware & Black enameled steel...incredibly well engineered and manufactured most likely by Markel Lighting being that the finer details are identical to the finest Markel Deco lighting designs from the same era. This off-center design is similar in profile and usage of light to his "Cobra" style lamp that is far more common - that said this sublime design is way more sophisticated and far more detailed in its' manufacture...and so rare you won't find this anywhere on the internet! This rare & unique sculptural domed diffuser design lamp is in exceptional original condition with no apparent signs of abuse or blemishes to dome or base aside from a very faint small dimple inflection on the shade. Original socket, base switch and power cord have been inspected and appear to be clean, safe and fully operational.
