It features an unusual simulated tile pagoda roof, then a top section with mirror back and arched top cabinetry. The middle section is a large shelf, below is an open storage space. Below we have two fall front panelled doors, with original Gothic handles, then two cupboard doors below. Similar cabinetry and architectural qualities have been found in the work of Charles Eastlake. The Eastlake movement was a nineteenth-century architectural and household design reform movement started by British architect and writer Charles Eastlake (1836–1906). See less
