This fabulous pair of Charles X ormolu and patinated bronze five light candelabra are signed Meignan and date from the early 19th Century.
The scrolled arms issuing from a gilt bronze basket held aloft by a figure of Winged Victory on a domed foliate orb, are supported by an ormolu columnar base.
These candelabra were purchased at Christies N.Y.; The House Sale, March 5, 2003.
