Frank Owen Gehry, CC, FAIA is a Canadian-born American architect. A number of his buildings, including his private residence, have become world-renowned attractions.

Inspired by the apple crates he had played on as a child, Pritzker Prize-winning architect Frank Gehry created the ribbon-like design of the Hat Trick chair with interwoven maple strips. The graceful design integrates material with the structure beautifully. The chair is stamped with the Knoll Studio logo under the seat and imprinted with Frank Gehry's signature and the date of production. The back of the chair flexes as the hard white maple in 2"- wide, 1/34"-thick strips are designed to do so. See less
