Event and The Test - a group of 2 Mid-Century Modern aluminum acrobat sculptures.
William D. King (1925-2015)
These interlocking aluminum sculptures were part of a series, which was sold principally in museum gift shops in the 1960s-1970s during King's solo exhibitions.
King attended attended Cooper Union and was widely known for public sculpture. His long and successful career included countless solo exhibitions and his work is held in many important private and public collections including the Whitney, Guggenheim, MoMA, and Smithsonian.
