Frankl using the highest-quality rattan poles and reeds available and is in its original, un-restored condition. Made of steam-bent rattan poles, the sofa features Frankl’s hallmark decorative wicker woven wrappings made of rattan strips. The piece comes from a home Frankl designed in Los Angeles in the mid-to-late 1930s.
