sell some of his lamps in the United States market. We looked like a good fit. I do remember him telling us that he also refurbishes the mcm originals and had photos of these. I purchased one for me and one for our shop and have loved it for some 25 years but am moving and it will not fit . Some liberties have been taken from the original design as it has a round base and large domed shade.
Very much in the Pop Art vein.
I do not see it marked but man oh man you can tell this the quality is there. Heavy substantial base, all parts move easily , polished aluminum knobs and a 19.5" Hood. In excellent condition with no dents that i could see only some minor surface scratching from age and use. George Carwardine (1887 – 1947). was the original designer of the adjustable anglepoise concept and made smaller desk size lamps. He already was known as an engineer for working on car suspensions.

Many of the measurements are approximates as of the nature of something that can be adjusted. Does have an asian Dimmer that works well . See less
