A modernist brutalist hand-hammered tin candelabra by Mexican artist Gene Bryon. Artist's initials and "Mexico" are inscribed on bottom. A classic modern motif with peace doves and flowers. Small amber glass inserts are included, but not original to the design. This candelabra featured in the "Verna Cook Shipway Mexican" modernism design books of the 1960s. Today her estate is now a culture museum, hosting many classical and Jazz Concerts, as well Art Exhibitions. From a private collection: 22.25"h x 16.5"w x 6.25"d.
In exceptionally good vintage condition.
