A beautiful oil on board landscape painting by American artist Seymour Remenick (1923-1999).

Seymour Remenick was born in Detroit, Michigan and studied art at the Tyler School of Fine Art 1940-1942, the Hans Hoffman Art School 1946-1948, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, where he also taught from 1977 until 1996. His primary subject was landscape, but he also painted still life, figures, and portraits.
His work is represented in public and private collections including the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
