Such a fun still life featuring highly-stylized daisies displayed in a bulbous vase. Love how the black vase contasts with the soft hues of a grey-green backdrop. This mixed media work appears to be acrylic on canvas with added layers of textured glaze. Some portions of the rendering have been highlighted with high-gloss glazing, while others remain a flat matte.
This artwork is offered unframed (as found) and frankly looks amazing on display -- perched on a wall, shelf, or tabletop easel -- without additional embellishment. Also suitable for new or vintage framing, if desired. It is signed 'Danielle" and dated 2012, lower left. Acquired in Quebec, is likely the work of a Canadian artist.
