This folk art, trestle table is from northern Sweden and made around 1830. Made by hand in solid pine and never painted. The table top has an attractive patina with a smooth, light surface after many years of use. A genuine table where the table top and leg frame has been together since the making. Note the thick, solid pine table top made from only two boards. Some minor traces of old repairs on the ends of the trestle and on one leg, see pictures. Nothing that affects stability or function.
